Stanley Racing was founded March 1, 1977.  Over the next 19 years, we became the leading manufacturer of quarter midgets in the United States.  In fact, most of the technology used in today's quarter midgets was first designed and implemented at our shop.

Many of today's accomplished race car drivers took their first ride in a race car in a Stanley-built quarter midget.  These drivers include Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman, Stevie Reeves, Andy Hillenburg, and the late Kenny Irwin and Robbie Stanley.

In 1994, the untimely and tragic death of our son and brother, Robbie, resulted in Stanley Racing ceasing operation.

After a six-year absence, Stanley Racing has reopened with Robbie's brother, Ryan, running the business.
